Spring Creek Ranch had been the premier resort in Jackson Hole, Wyoming for two decades, but it faced increasing competition from newer upscale properties including Amangani and the Four Seasons. The owners decided to create a new Wilderness Adventure Spa to reflect ranch's outdoorsy/scenic environment and help this mature resort get back into the spotlight and increase business, rates, and revenue. Through one-on-one pitching to editors and freelance writers in beauty, travel, fitness and lifestyle, as well as individual visits, NJFPR successfully achieved a high-profile launch for the new spa and, in turn, raised awareness of Spring Creek Ranch.

Following the launch campaign, both occupancy at the 127-room resort and the average room rate increased. Bookings were up over eight percent and call volume and Website traffic have increased over 12 percent. The spa has consistently been booked solid on both weekends and weekdays and revenues have increased, well surpassing expectations. National print coverage in leading media outlets included The New York Times Escapes section; two stories each in Travel + Leisure and New York magazine; Food & Wine; Money; Shape; Family Circle; O, The Oprah Magazine; Men's Journal; the Dallas Morning News; and Ocean Drive among others. It was named one of the Top Spas in the country by Travel + Leisure in 2006; total print coverage reached nearly 175 million readers.
