Globetrotters in Monterey County

July 31, 2018

Winter might be an off-season for most destinations, but not in Monterey County. With fewer crowds and cozy weather, winter in Monterey is always On Season! To inspire travel to Monterey County during the winter months, we invited three social media influencers to explore the best of the county.

Alli and Bobby Talley of the Traveling Newlyweds, Chelsea Lankford of Truelane, and Eden Passante of Sugar & Charm were each given the opportunity to enjoy a custom Monterey experience that laddered up to the “It’s On Season” winter campaign messaging. Throughout the course of the trip, everyone was treated to quintessential Monterey County experiences, in addition to ample time on their own to explore why the off-season is a great time to visit.

Throughout the duration of the campaign, our three influencers produced nine blog posts, nearly 60 social media posts and 120 photo assets. The “It’s On Season” winter influencer campaign exceeded all social media objectives, garnering more than 3.5 million social impressions and nearly 80,000 social engagements.

Discover how to experience Monterey’s On Season through the eyes of each influencer.
