To inspire target market audiences as well as those planning to take a summer road trip to South Dakota, MMGY Global executed an integrated social media campaign to drive social media engagement, increase website referrals and increase awareness of South Dakota as the ultimate road trip destination. Expanding on the established “Great Places, Great Faces” campaign messaging, the “State of Great” campaign was launched to showcase just how great this state is.
- We launched the “State of Great” sweepstakes on South Dakota’s Facebook page. If followers answered correctly, they were in the running to win a trip to South Dakota.
- Following the sweepstakes launch, we then coordinated the #StateofGreat influencer campaign. Six influencers were chosen to highlight different aspects of the state that make it a unique summer destination.
- Content from each influencer was shared across all of South Dakota’s social media channels throughout the summer.
